Quarterly Business Review meetings are meetings where the focus is more on the strategic goals and challenges then on day to day technology needs.

This helps in alligning recommendations to the needs of the organisation and not to just offer a one size fits all solution.
During QBR sessions the technology roadmap for the upcomming years is discussed, where the technology is alligned with the business goals.

The QBR meeting focusses more on the "big picture". Key concerns detected during GRC (Gouverance Risk & Compliancy) sessions will be highlighted and discussed. And they are used to formulate recommendations to the technology roadmap.

QBR meetings are planned depending on the needs of the organisation. In more complex environments with a very volatile technology stack, they will occur more frequent than in an organisation where there are less changes.
